About Us

Surface Design is the complex embellishment and transformation of materials including fibers, paper, clay, glass and metal.

The purpose of Surface Design Guild Sarasota is to increase community awareness of surface design and to offer educational, exhibition, and sale opportunities for our members.

Meetings - second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM - Arrive early for Social time (6pm)

Play Days - last Sunday of the month starting at 1 PM and lasting until 8pm- unless there is a specific time for a workshop the meeting room is available from 1pm till 8pm and you can come whenever you like and bring whatever project you are working on. It's a chance to actually have time to socialize and share creative ideas.

Venue:  Fire Station located at 2070  Waldemere and East Ave., Sarasota, FL  Upstairs (or elevator) in second floor meeting room.             map

Dues:  $25 payable in September.  The public is invited.
