Sarasota Surface Design Guild Meeting

August 10, 2010

The meeting was called to order by Elizabeth Hillman in the absence of President, Kim Sherrod. 

Old Business: 

FAB is scheduled for February 10 - 13, 2011  More info is on website.

Ann Mc Cunney will present next month's program on paper cutting.  She will share info on design principles, space and absence of space.  A list of supplies will be listed on the website for Playday.

Reports: 

 - Total Members:  75

 - 3 guests present

 - Current Treasury balance:  $1,270.08

New Business:

 - Marlene's 9/21 class is full

 - Cheryl is hosting a pin-weaving class at BeadsFOB

 - Fredrick Remington's work is being showcased at a Selby-Ringling Show.               

   He is a Western artist from Buffalo Bill Cody's Museum.

 - Art Center Sarasota reception for "crafts in America"is Friday night, 8/13/10
